Bad Dream

Problems with being 5"2 is when you want to throw on a kimono it usually can look like you are being swallowed up by a fabric monster.  It's a problem but I love oversized outerwear and I figured out ways to get around this.  You can either wear tighter clothes to balance huge outerwear which you guys have seen me do numerous times or you can layer. Layering can create dimension in an outfit and helps you not look super engulfed by your outwear.

I wore my sheer black button up dress because with the collars I have structure which always helps. Since my dress is sheer I layered underneath another black lace skirt so I have layers upon layers.
Tall heels are my best friend because without heels the kimono hits my ankles! Remember if your shoe is a pattern or is a statement on its own it can balance out your heavy outerwear.
